Set up in 1973 by a group of Islington parents, The Children’s House is a much-loved staple on the north London nursery scene. So much so that 15 years ago, an upper school was added to take pupils through to 7 (there is a single registration for both and entry to the reception in the Upper is automatic and for the majority the norm). Newcomers begin with mornings only for the first term then have the option of staying for full days.
