“Picturesque” doesn’t do justice to this rural prep, which has the stunning Surrey Hills as its backdrop and a Jacobean mansion at its heart, majestically sitting among fields in every direction. There’s nothing grand about the atmosphere, though – the staff are among the friendliest we’ve met and treat pupils like family (indeed, quite a few are their offspring).
