Set in the storybook surroundings of historic Canterbury, The King’s School Canterbury’s summer programmes combine academic ambition with plenty of fun, offering one flagship summer school with two pathways: an English language track for students keen to build fluency, and a global studies track for confident or native speakers keen to explore the world from a broader perspective. Everyone then chooses from eight different academies in everything from art and design to international relations or sport, coming together for meals, activities and off-site adventures, creating a truly international feel.
For budding musicians, there’s also the Global Youth Orchestra, a two-week, full symphony experience for advanced players, packed with daily rehearsals and professional coaching.
