Bryanston Pupil Selected to Represent England in Combined Events Championships

Bryanston Year 10 pupil, Seni P, has been selected to represent England in the prestigious Combined Events Athletics Championships, set to take place in Glasgow this November.

Seni’s outstanding performances at the ESAA (English Schools’ Athletics Association) Combined Events Championship last week secured her place, marking her first time wearing the England vest.

Seni took part in Hurdles, Shotput, High Jump, Long Jump and the 800 metres, finishing third out of the strongest field. Commenting on her achievement, she said, “I am very proud of myself for managing to gain my England vest, and really looking forward to competing in Glasgow at my first international. I would like to say a huge thank you to all my coaches, family, friends, and the school for supporting me.”

In other sports news, Daisy A (Year 11) capped off her triathlon season with an impressive 19th place finish at the Super Series Grand Final in Mallory Park. Daisy has been steadily climbing the rankings throughout the season, and her dedication and hard have earned her an outstanding overall ranking of 23rd.

Both Seni and Daisy are sports scholars and part of Bryanston’s High Performance Sports Programme. This supports the school’s most talented athletes, offering them world-class facilities, comprehensive medical support, and a platform to excel in their chosen disciplines.
