Heathfield students celebrate outstanding GCSE results
Heathfield School is celebrating the outstanding achievements of its GCSE students and the dedication of staff, whose hard work has clearly paid off in this year’s exceptional results.
Nationally predicted grades were exceeded across the board, with students achieving on average well over a full grade higher in every subject, with more than a third of all grades awarded as 9 – 8 (A*) grades.
All Heathfield’s top performers are continuing into Sixth Form, where they will build on their GCSE success with tailored mentoring, bespoke timetabling and exceptional opportunities to lead and excel. Among this year’s outstanding achievers are:
- Lily with an impressive 100% grades 9-8, who will be continuing her academic journey with A-level Maths, Economics and History.
- Flo, who is also celebrating success with 100% grades 9-8, has chosen to pursue A-level Economics, French, English and Spanish.
Commenting on this year’s achievements, Headmistress, Sarah Rollings said, ‘
Congratulations to all our incredible students on their outstanding results. Alongside the excellent grades, the girls truly embody our ethos - ‘small school, big opportunities’ – by contributing to all aspects of school life beyond the classroom. Whether through Drama, Music, Sport or other extra-curricular activities, their energy, ambition and enthusiasm shines through in everything they do, perfectly capturing the spirit of Heathfield.’
On Tuesday 30 September, the school will be hosting prospective students and their parents at the Sixth Form Open Evening, with presentations by incoming Headmaster, Jonathan Williams, and Sixth Form students and staff, and with a tour of the state-of-the-art Cadogan Sixth Form Centre, facilities and school.
