Frensham Heights School Celebrates Their GCSE Students’ Amazing Achievements
Frensham Heights School is delighted to celebrate this year’s GCSE students, recognising not only their wonderful academic successes but the energy, resilience and individuality they have shown throughout their school journey, particularly with the significant impact of Covid on this year group.
These young people embody the spirit of a progressive education, proving that when students are happy, respected and free to be themselves, they grow in confidence and achieve their best.
The school is particularly proud of the way students have balanced their studies with the many other passions that make them who they are. From excelling in sport and the performing arts to navigating the challenges of modern life, they have shown maturity, creativity and determination. Their ability to maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life has been as important as the grades they have achieved.
These students leave with more than qualifications, they leave with the skills, confidence and sense of self needed to thrive in a changing world.

“The thing which makes Frensham Heights so special is that we have always known that the purpose of education is so much more than the results which students achieve. Whilst the grades our Year 11s have achieved this year are amongst the best in the school’s history and are, by any measure, exceptional, they are the happy by product of a successful education rather than its core purpose. Whether they are staying with us for Sixth Form or moving on to new adventures, these wonderful, warm, funny, compassionate and values driven young people will undoubtedly contribute to making their world a better place and we could not be prouder of them for that.”
