Finborough School Welcomes New Head of Sixth Form
Finborough School is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Carol Clark as its new Head of Sixth Form, joining from her current role as Head of Upper School at The Royal School.
With 13 years’ experience in education and leadership, Mrs Clark brings a wealth of expertise spanning both pastoral and curriculum leadership, as well as significant whole-school responsibilities in pupil wellbeing and safeguarding. This breadth of experience has shaped a leadership style that combines academic rigour with a deep commitment to student welfare and personal growth.
Throughout her career, Mrs Clark has been dedicated to helping young people achieve their full potential while also developing the confidence, resilience, and independence needed for lifelong learning. '
The Sixth Form years are pivotal in shaping young adults both academically and personally,' Mrs Clark said.
'I am passionate about ensuring our students not only excel in their studies, but also leave with the confidence, independence, and curiosity to thrive in whichever path they choose.'
Family life is central to Mrs Clark. Having recently relocated from Hampshire, she has settled in Suffolk with her husband and young daughter. Together, they enjoy making the most of the outdoors, exploring the countryside and coastal walks with their rescue spaniel, Rosie. Mrs Clark also enjoys Pilates and wellbeing practices, which provide valuable balance to her busy professional life.
Mrs Clark will formally take up her position at the start of September, and the Finborough community looks forward to welcoming her into this exciting new role.
