Taunton School wins Talk ÍÑ¿ã°É Innovation in ÍÑ¿ã°É Award
Taunton School has won the Inspiring Sporting Activities award at the 2025 Talk ÍÑ¿ã°É Awards for Innovation in ÍÑ¿ã°É.
The School was chosen as the recipient of the award due to its 'focus on inclusivity in sport and its efforts to nurture all abilities via its dedicated sporting pathways.'
Taunton School proudly celebrates a multi-disciplinary approach which encourages students to be active and engaged in a range of sporting endeavours from Pre-Prep to Sixth Form and beyond.

Winners of the Talk ÍÑ¿ã°É Awards for Innovation in ÍÑ¿ã°É are selected by an expert panel of judges with over 400 years of combined experience in education who collectively share a deep and authentic understanding of how an inclusive sports programme enhances student welfare and wellbeing whilst developing skills, competencies, and attitudes that facilitate student success in life at school and beyond.
With three pathways - core development, potential high performance, and high performance - across its senior school, Taunton School’s programme has been carefully designed to support the highest levels of progression and development, irrespective of age, experience, or perceived ability. All students in Years 9 to 13 are able to access one of these pathways, central to the School's fully inclusive offering.
The School’s vast offering includes more than 1,000 fixtures each year across 30 different sports with 130 representative teams in its senior school alone. Earlier in the year, Taunton School was named as one of the best schools in the UK for sport, ranking 14th in School Sport magazine’s Top 200 Sporting Schools.
