At Holmewood House, we are:
REGULAR RECYCLERS
We recycle lots of different materials and never throw recyclable materials into general waste.
MINDFUL MUNCHERS
We only take what food we are going to eat and are mindful of what we throw away. We keep food waste to a minimum.
ENERGY SAVERS
We turn off lights and sockets when not in use. We use energy wisely.
HEATING HEROES
We only use heating when necessary and turn it down or off when not needed.
PLASTIC PREVENTERS
We avoid single-use plastics and always try to buy sustainably produced products. We re-use and recycle instead of throwing plastic away.-
CARBON CUTTERS
We are mindful of emissions and try to reduce them wherever possible. We switch off engines and cycle or walk when we can.
LITTER QUITTERS
We look after our local environment by putting our rubbish in the bin or recycling if possible. We pick up litter when we see it.
