Taunton School ranked in top 5% for GCSE results and top 10% for A-Level results for value added
Taunton School has been ranked in the top 5% of UK schools for value added to GCSE results and in the top 10% of UK schools for value added to A-Level results.
This means students achieved better results at Taunton School than they would have in 95% and 90% of other schools across the UK respectively and that on average they achieved a whole grade higher than their baseline grade.
These achievements follow Taunton School’s highest GCSE and A-Level results in recent years, with 53% of GCSEs graded 9-7 and 69% of A-Levels graded A*-B.
Graham Mallard, Deputy Head Academic at Taunton School, said:
'I am incredibly proud of what our students achieved in their public examinations this year. It is wonderful to see them surpassing what the best national data predicted: the result of all their hard work and the high standards of teaching and support our students receive at Taunton School.'
Taunton School is proud to offer multiple pathways in its Senior School and Sixth Form, being one of the only schools in the country to offer a range of GCSE pathways plus 150+ co-curricular clubs and four pathways to higher education: A-Level, BTEC, the International Baccalaureate and the International Foundation Year.
