Surbiton High Boys’ Prep School is inviting the community to join a free online event exploring the fascinating link between movement and learning. The virtual talk, Psychomotor Learning, will be delivered by sports psychology and performance advisor Josh Trigwell on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, from 7:30–8:00 PM (UK time) via Microsoft Teams.
Josh, a former national 1500m champion and elite athletics coach, will share insights into how physical activity supports children’s confidence, cognitive development, and sporting performance. Drawing on his experience mentoring athletes and delivering wellbeing workshops for Adidas Runners, Josh will highlight practical strategies parents and educators can use to encourage mind-body growth in young learners.
'This session is designed to show how movement isn’t just about fitness — it’s a powerful tool for building resilience, focus, and decision-making skills,' said Trigwell.
The event is open to everyone and free to attend. Registration is available at https://www.trybooking.com/uk/FPRH.
