Surbiton High School Awarded Centre of Excellence Status
Surbiton High School has been awarded Centre of Excellence status for 2025/26 by the Leadership Skills Foundation, joining just 42 centres selected from over 2,500 nationwide.
The recognition celebrates Surbiton High’s commitment to embedding leadership development across its curriculum and community. Evidence submitted included schemes of work, lesson plans, pupil intervention protocols, festival organisation documents, and testimonials from primary schools, all demonstrating the positive impact of leadership initiatives on pupils.
Richard Norman, Chief Executive of the Leadership Skills Foundation, commented:
